VOIP (Voice over Internet protocol) technology has revolutionized the way voice communication is done over international long distance. It is better known as Internet telephony and is offered by many service providers. The service is offered over Internet protocols and not over conventional telecommunication infrastructure. There are different bandwidth requirements and varies depending upon the coding algorithms that are being used for packets transferring the voice packets.

MOS or Mean Opinion Score is one of the most commonly used Quality standardization methods used in service. The Mean Option Score standard is based on a scale of 1 to 5 in ascending order. It is the cheapest and one of the best modes of communication to stay in touch with friends and relatives living in different countries.
